Request-Service Terms (Handyman & On-Demand Facility Work)

These terms govern no-account facility requests on this site. They are not Platform Terms and do not create a Rescue Access, Core, or Complete subscription. By submitting a request, paying for a visit, or opening a magic-link ticket, you agree to these terms.

1. The service. RFC coordinates local, vet-aware facility help. Work is performed by RFC, a local independent operator, and/or a technician they assign. See the Independent Operator Disclosure. We are not your employee.

2. No account. You may request work without a Facility Care Plan. This form does not create a website login.

3. Tickets. We issue a work-order number, show an on-screen receipt, and give you a magic link at /wo/{token}. That page is the ticket for this walk. The link is hashed, single-use, and expires in 60 minutes. Public “reply-all / workorder@” language is copy; this site does not wire live email.

4. Coverage. Eligibility and timing follow the coverage map at the time of request and are confirmed before scheduling. Windows are targets, not guarantees. “No Coverage Currently” means we are not offering the visit.

5. Price. Unless you book the $199 dryer-vent offer (see Offer Terms), work is billed at our flat rate plus materials, quoted and confirmed before work begins. You authorize only the confirmed amount unless you approve extra work on site. You pay on completion.

6. $199 visits. Indoor accessible dryer-vent cleaning only. No roof, no VTR, no gas disconnect, no fire-code certificate. Offer Terms control that visit.

7. Access. Someone at the facility must walk the technician to the work area. We do not require the practice manager and we do not pitch subscriptions at the door.

8. Your responsibilities. You are authorized to request the work; the area is safe; animals are secured away from the work; and you will not put veterinary medical records on the ticket.

9. Photos. This form does not upload photos. If we later ask you to send photos from your phone, you grant RFC and the assigned operator a limited license to use them to quote and perform the job, and you warrant they do not include patients, clients, or medical charts.

10. What we do not do. We do not provide veterinary, medical, legal, engineering, or fire-code inspection services. A written condition note is a visit record, not a certificate or a guarantee that you will pass an inspection, audit, or board review.

11. Cancellation. Cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled window at no charge. A no-show, or a cancellation inside 24 hours, is billed one hour at the flat rate.

12. Disclaimers. This is facilities work, not a promise of code compliance, fire safety, or uninterrupted hospital operations. Nothing in these terms waives non-waivable duties, including ordinary negligence where the law does not allow a waiver, personal injury to the extent not waivable, or contractor or consumer rules that cannot be contracted away.

13. Liability. To the maximum extent the law allows, RFC’s and the local operator’s combined liability for a visit is limited to the amount you paid for that visit. Neither is liable for lost profits or lost patient time. This limit does not apply to gross negligence, willful misconduct, or personal injury to the extent those cannot be limited. We do not import the Platform Terms jury waiver or Delaware-only cap.

14. Indemnity. You will defend RFC and the local operator against third-party claims arising from inaccurate requests, unsafe site conditions you control, or content you submit, except to the extent caused by our negligence.

15. Refusal. We may decline or stop work if the site is unsafe, the request is outside scope, payment fails, or the request appears fraudulent.

16. Law. These terms are governed by the law of the state where the facility sits, without importing the Platform Terms jury waiver. Courts in that state are the forum.

17. Changes. The version on this page when you submit the request governs that ticket.
